As feature-rich as it is rugged, the <strong>DLI</strong> <strong>8300</strong> fits perfectly into any<br />
mobile computing environment. Thanks to its long list of integrated<br />
features, the <strong>DLI</strong> <strong>8300</strong> <strong>Rugged</strong> Tablet shatters the boundaries<br />
between hand held and vehicle mounted devices by combining a<br />
compact, ergonomic design with a level of functionality previously<br />
unavailable in a rugged tablet.<br />
Built around an industrial-class Intel Atom processor, an 8.4”<br />
outdoor readable touchscreen (optional), and housed in an<br />
impact-resistant IP54 sealed casing, the <strong>DLI</strong> <strong>8300</strong> is rugged to its<br />
core. Equally at home in field service, logistics, transportation, and<br />
public safety environments, the <strong>8300</strong> was designed with<br />
productivity in mind. Multiple, integrated communication options<br />
including cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS, as well as a wide<br />
variety of input and capture options including an integrated imager,<br />
on-board RFID, magstrip, colour camera, and integrated biometric<br />
reader round out the <strong>DLI</strong> <strong>8300</strong>’s expansive feature set.<br />
Adding to the <strong>DLI</strong> <strong>8300</strong>’s long list of innovative features is a<br />
revolutionary JBus interface, allowing the device to operate as a<br />
vehicle diagnostics tool in addition to its core mobile computing<br />
and wireless communications functionality.<br />
