<strong>Zehnder</strong> <strong>Carboline</strong><br />
<strong>Ceiling</strong>-mounted cooling <strong>and</strong> heating<br />
elements for grid <strong>and</strong> suspended<br />
ceilings, for the cooling <strong>and</strong> heating<br />
of buildings. The cooling <strong>and</strong> heating<br />
element comprises a sheet steel<br />
cassette <strong>and</strong> a graphite element containing<br />
a copper pipe.<br />
The copper pipes (ø10 mm, pipe<br />
centres 100 mm) are fitted flush in<br />
a compressed graphite panel.<br />
This allows very quick <strong>and</strong> even<br />
thermal conductivity to be achieved<br />
across the entire area of the element.<br />
This high-performance element is<br />
firmly bonded to a galvanised sheet<br />
steel cassette. The deburred pipe<br />
ends are screwed to the cassette<br />
using location brackets in order to<br />
provide reinforcement <strong>and</strong> pressure<br />
relief. The visible side is coated<br />
with high-grade polyester fine-structure<br />
paint. The sheet steel cassette<br />
is available smooth or perforated<br />
(acoustically insulating). Fixing clips<br />
are applied at various points across<br />
the sheet steel cassette.<br />
The maximum operating temperature<br />
is 85 °C, the maximum operating<br />
pressure is 10bar. The output of the<br />
cooling <strong>and</strong> heating element is tested<br />
to DIN EN 14037 <strong>and</strong> DIN EN 14240<br />
respectively.<br />
