Welcome to Amaretto Breedable Horses.
This manual will give you the basics on how to start breeding your own Amaretto Horses.
First read these four items below about the horses, they will help with future questions:
1.FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: What is the age you are able to ride the horses ?
A: You will be able to ride your horses when they turn 7.
Q: At what age do Horses Breed?
A: at age 7.
Q: What age is considered full grown, where the horse won’t grow any larger?
A: age 7
Q: What is the difference between the Physical, Phantom, and Off movement settings?
A: The Physical Movement Setting (which is supposed to be listed as Normal) uses a semi
physical movement that the physics is only on when the horse moves and off when standing still
this is to reduce collisions and lag.
The Phantom Movement Setting allows the horse to move in a phantom state completely
eliminating collisions all together.
WARNING THE HORSE WILL BE ABLE TO GO THROUGH WALLS, AND FENCES. PLEASE
SET THE RANGE APPROPRIATELY
The Off Movement Setting turns off the movement completely but still allows the animations and
sounds to function.
Q: What does the Salt Lick help with and should it only be needed after the horses are old enough
to breed?
A: The Salt Lick helps to increase the happiness of the horse. It only needs to be used when you
are trying to increase the Fervor of the horse for breeding and do not have the time to ride them to
increase their happiness.
Q: How does the range settings work?
A: The Range is set in Meters and is the radius of a circle with the home point as the center.
(The Radius of a circle is measured from the center to it’s edge)
Q: Can the Food be set to phantom?
A: No, the Food can not be set to phantom. Also I don’t think we want the baby horses getting lost
in the Food do we?
Q: What do the terms Pairing , Mating or Parents refer to in the Breeding Menu?
A: Pairing gives you the ability to make horse breed with only one other horse. It will last until the
horses breed or until you break the pairing.
Mating allows you to choose who’s horses your horse can mate with….. being only yours (Owner),
your friends (Group), or everyone's (Any).
Parents refer to a feature that will state in local chat what the parents of a particular horse are.
Q: How will we know the horses are ill? When should we use the healing kits?
PDF created with pdfFactory trial version www.pdffactory.com

A: A horse will become sick if it’s hunger reaches 100%. The horse will say it’s sick in the hover
text. The Healing Kit should only be used when the horse is sick.
Q: What are the restrictions of Pet Food ?
A: When you put your Horses on Pet Food and then switch them over to Breeder’s food it will take
7 days after being transferred to breeder food before they can start building fervor.
Q: How do you tell how much food, water & salt lick you have left?
A: You can click the food, water or salt lick and a menu comes up that has the amount remaining
and options to set your food to owner, group or all.
Q: How long does Pregnancy last?
A: Pregnancy lasts for 3 days.
Q: How long after the Horse has a baby can it become pregnant again?
A: After having the baby it takes 4 days for the female to recover, then 2-3 days for it to get back
100% fervor.
Q: How long does food last? Pet & Breedable
A: The food will last the 2 Regular Horses 2 weeks.
Q: How long does the Salt Lick last? and does it help to have more than 1 out?
A: The Salt will last as long as the food. We do NOT recommend having out more than one Salt
Lick the boosts will not stack.
Q: Is it normal for the movement to stop after the horse has become ill?
A: Yes
Q: Do Males rise slower in fervor than Females?
A: No the males fervor rises at the same rate as the females, but the male has no recovery period.
After he mates with a female, his fervor will start to rise again. In 2-3 days he can mate again with
another female.
Q: If the energy on the female horse goes low and they go to sleep does that slow down the birth
of the horse?
A: No the pregnancy continues at it’s normal rate. It just will not give birth until it wakes up.
*To get started, rez a BabyBundle you purchased from your inventory on the ground. Click the
bundle and select the "birth" option to rez your new baby horse, foal.Your new lil foal has a default
range of 5 meters from "home" which is the spot where you birthed them. To move your foal just
select edit and move, or the foal can be taken into inventory and re-rezed to the new location. To
set home position in the future click the foal/horse, select settings, set home. The Range is set in
Meters and is the radius of a circle with the home point as the center.
(The Radius of a circle is measured from the center to it’s edge)
*The foal will get a little bigger each day until it reaches full maturity at age 7 (days). When they
reach maturity the fervor will start to rise as long as the happiness is above 75%. Once the fervor
reaches 100% they will be able to mate. In order to have a successful mating both Horses need to
have, 100% fervor and awake.
* Pregnancy lasts for 3 days. After having the "bundle" it takes 4 days for the female to recover,
then 2-3 days for it to get back 100% fervor. The male recovers in 24 hours and will begin to gain
fervor.
There are 2 types of food, breeder food and pet food. When you put your horses on pet food and
then switch them over to breeder food it will take 7 days after being transferred to breeder food
before they can start building fervor. Or you can keep them on pet food and they will be pets only
and not breed at all. Both breeder and pet food will last the 2 Regular Horses 2 weeks.
*You can ride your horse once it reaches age 7. To ride you horse first turn off movement on the
horse you want to ride, then take them into your inventory. Wear your horse from your inventory.
In the horses menu you can choose the animation you would like and height adjustment. Your
horse will gain happiness while you ride but will also tire faster. Once the energy gets to zero it will
detach from you and go back to your inventory. You will need to rez the horse so it can sleep and
gain energy back before riding again.
