The Sagemcom F@st 3804 is a compact and powerful residential gateway, dedicated to the following applications
• Triple-play ADSL services
• Full speed FTTH use through the Gigabit Ethernet WAN interface
• Wireless WAN support using external 3G and LTE USB adapters
The Sagemcom F@st 3804 is based on latest hardware technologies, thus allowing true gigabit/s service routing.

Home Gateway Middleware.
Sagemcom HOME GATEWAY MIDDLEWARE
The Sagemcom F@st 3804 is compatible with our latest gateway
middleware. Sagemcom middleware natively supports IPv6. The fully
featured dual stack IP v4/v6 ensures the Sagemcom F@st 3804 is
ready for all major scenarios of IPv6 network migration. Sagemcom
modular architecture guarantees a clear separation between BSP,
middleware and applications. The architecture allows dedicated space
for safe and efficient operator customisation. The modularity also
includes Java / OSGi support*.
TOP CLASS WIRELESS INTERFACE
The Sagemcom F@st 3804 offers a fast and reliable Wireless LAN
connection. It integrates a full speed 802.11 b/g/n interface in 2,4 Ghz,
optionally 5 GHz for IPTV transport. 40MHz channels are supported.
The Sagemcom F@st 3804 also features high level security up to WPA2.
Wireless QoS WMM, community Wi-Fi through multi-SSID are also
supported. Installation is seamless using certified WPS feature.
RICH VOICE CONTENT
The Sagemcom F@st 3804 offers state-of-art voice services through
2 FXS and the FXO*. Additionally, a DECT CAT-iq interface* may be
offered, allowing cordless HD voice distribution. The Sagemcom
F@st 3804 may also support IP phone multi-line telephony thanks
to the embedded SIP proxy*.
SHARED MEDIA CONTENT
In order to access your multimedia files anywhere, anytime, on any device,
the Sagemcom F@st 3804 integrates an embedded DLNA media server*
on top of Samba and UPnP AV.
SMART IPTV SUPPORT
The Sagemcom F@st 3804 supports an unlimited number of
set-top-boxes thanks to its Gbps capable core. The home gateway
ensures glitchless TV transport using a full set of features addressing
specific IPTV challenges: robust DSL datapump supporting G.INP,
multi-layer QoS, comprehensive IGMPv3 engine.
NAT / FIREWALL
IPv4 NAT allows intuitive server/gaming setup thanks to a
pre-configurable application list.
The secure firewall allows:
- Stateful Packet Inspection
- Complete address/port/protocol filtering
This firewall also supports IPv6 filtering.
MANAGEMENT
The Sagemcom F@st 3804 offers a robust TR-069 agent ensuring
full remote service provisionning and resilient upgrade. The home
gateway also offers secured HTTP and Telnet configuration platforms,
available locally and remotely with access profile discrimination:
user vs admin. The GUI is externalised, i.e. independent from the
middleware. This facilitates the quick development and customisation of
an intuitive configuration platform.
