Many of the blinds and sun 

screens in the Oceanair range 

come with a powered option. 

Ideal for larger boats, 

powered blinds and 

sunscreens are a quick and 

effective way to control light 

and heat at the push of a 

button. The powered option 

also provides a solution to 

hatches that are fitted into 

high headlinings. 

● Oceanair’s recommended control 

option is a radio transmitter 

because a direct line of sight is 

not required. Alternative controls

Light transmission 

To complement the shaping ability of SKYSOL, each blind is available in an extensive range of fabrics giving varying 

properties of light transmission. These fabrics can give the best combination of privacy and heat control whilst allowing 

an ambient light flow for ultimate comfort.

1. Soft Pleat panels are of equal depth; when in the 

fully raised position the pleats are level. Panels are 

approximately 150-200mm (6-8”) dependent on the 

stacking depth required. 

2. Hard Pleat is as a Soft Pleat, plus additional rod 

support within the pleat line to help maintain blind shape 

and definition. Guide wires or a track system are 

available to give the blind stability. 

3. Gradient Soft Pleat features fabric panels of 

progressively increasing depth creating a dramatic

Silhouette ® blinds are as practical as they are 

beautiful 

Tilting horizontal vanes of soft 

polyester are suspended 

between two sheer fabric 

facings offering superior light 

diffusion and aiding privacy – 

without spoiling the view. 

● Fabric vanes are available in a 

variety of colours, textures and 

opacities. They are durable 100% 

polyester and treated to resist 

dust, dirt and stains 

● A continuous cord loop gives a 

single line control for both the 

tilting and raising/lowering 

mechanism 

● Optional hold-down brackets can 

be provided to secure the bottom 

rail 

● Open: they provide a soft filtered 

view. Closed: they offer privacy
