Assisant Coach profiles<br />
Patrick McGowen joined the <strong>San</strong> <strong>Jacinto</strong> <strong>College</strong> women’s basketball team in August 2011. He<br />
comes to <strong>San</strong> Jac after a four-year stint on the University of Arkansas at Monticello coaching staff<br />
under Head Coach Chris Ratliff.<br />
“It’s a blessing to be here at <strong>San</strong> <strong>Jacinto</strong> <strong>College</strong>,” said McGowen. “I love basketball. I grew up<br />
around the sport, and I want to be able to help young adults. I’m looking forward to my time at <strong>San</strong><br />
<strong>Jacinto</strong> <strong>College</strong>.”<br />
McGowen played at Lee <strong>College</strong> and then went on to play at Southwestern Assembly of God<br />
University in Waxahachie, Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, with a minor in<br />
coaching, from University of Arkansas at Monicello. Originally from Dayton, Texas, McGowen has<br />
two daughters, Kailee and Dominique.<br />
