▄ Athletes age categories dancing the log ladder<br />
Subsequent to various problems encountered regarding age categories in the log ladder and world representation,<br />
remember that if you are number one (1) couple as per log ladder points representations are in 2012 for 2011 you<br />
still have to be in the age category that you are representing otherwise you will automatically lose your title and that<br />
will be awarded to the next couple this communiqué therefore serves to confirm the following<br />
JUNIOR 1:<br />
• All couples who are Junior 1 but will be Junior 2 next year can <strong>dance</strong> the Junior 2 Log ladder and Junior 1<br />
in the champ section<br />
JUNIOR 2:<br />
• All couples who are less than 15 that who will still be in the category <strong>of</strong> Junior 2 next year can <strong>dance</strong> both<br />
the log ladder and champ section under Junior 2<br />
• All athletes who are 15 this year and will be turning 16 in 2012 should be registered under Youth log ladder<br />
this year and <strong>dance</strong> Junior2 in the Champ section<br />
YOUTH:<br />
• All couples who <strong>dance</strong> in the youth section and will still be under 18 in 2011 will be registered under youth<br />
in both log ladder and the champ section<br />
• All couples who are presently dancing in Youth but will be over 18 next year must <strong>dance</strong> champ as youth<br />
but adult log ladder<br />
However, it is still the responsibility <strong>of</strong> the athletes to produce their correct birth or valid identification books<br />
