CERTIFICATION LEVELS<br />
Certification is awarded to individual students who successfully pass the required exams. Building upon and<br />
strengthening their knowledge over time, students progress through each of the certification levels. To achieve a<br />
higher certification level, an individual student must have completed the previous level.<br />

START VALIDATING<br />
YOUR EXPERTISE<br />
Motorola Solutions has carefully designed the certification program to maximize<br />
learning and thoroughly assess competency through a streamlined process.<br />
Each level of certification comprises a set of courses, known as a “bundle.” To achieve certification, students register<br />
for a bundle and complete the associated courses and exams.<br />
Each certification level achieved by an individual student has a limited validity period and must be renewed every<br />
two years. (Please note that your certification is valid for that time period even if you change employers.)<br />
ASSOCIATE CERTIFICATION PROCESS FOR STUDENTS<br />
• See the following pages to identify the bundle code for the Associate certification<br />
you wish to achieve.<br />
• Register for an account on the Learning Management System (LMS). (Existing<br />
Motorola Solutions channel partners can log in with the credentials used for<br />
other key PartnerEmpower sites.)<br />
• Enter the bundle code in the search bar. (You can also use keywords.)<br />
• Register for the bundle.<br />
• Complete the online courses required through LMS. (Depending on the course,<br />
you may have the option to move directly to an exam if you wish.)<br />
• Complete the online exam at the end of the course.<br />
• After you complete the exam for the final course in the bundle, your certification<br />
will be complete.<br />
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION PROCESS FOR STUDENTS<br />
• Complete the relevant Associate certification.<br />
• Identify the proper bundle code for the Professional certification you wish to<br />
achieve and visit the LMS to register for the bundle.<br />
• Strengthen your knowledge by completing the bundle’s courses and exams.<br />
• Online courses can be completed via the LMS.<br />
• Instructor-led courses are offered at various Motorola Solutions facilities and<br />
third-party sites. View the schedule and register for these course via LMS.<br />
• (Technical Professional certifications only) Take the high-stakes exam. This<br />
comprehensive two-hour exam costs $200 and is proctored by a third party.<br />
Visit Prometric online to find a site near you and schedule your exam.<br />
• After you complete the final course assessment (and high-stakes exam if<br />
appropriate), your certification will be complete.<br />
