The factory-modified and adapted “plug and play” Masterpact NW is designed for installation
in the original Masterpact M chassis. On-site upgrades are very simple:

Our plug & play solution lets you retrofit Masterpact MP/ M devices with
minimal downtime.
The existing Masterpact MP/ M chassis is retained.
Busbar and cable connections are not disturbed.
(1) Although the actual work of the breaker removal and install for the plug & play solution is 30 minute, keep in
mind there is scheduled outage, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and additional safety precautions before and
after the install that’s a vital part of the upgrade solution.
(2) Equipment must be in an electrically safe condition during installation, repair and modification for both the
plug & play and Retrofill upgrade solutions.
