3.3 Steering Capacity
Below table shows maximum Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW, tonnes) per axle comb. (tonnes).
There can be combinations with lower values. Verify that there is a valid certificate for your
vehicle combination.
NOTE! If the body-builder does any kind of modification of the Volvo steering system, the
body-builder is fully responsible for the approval of steering system.
At least 20% of the GVW must be applied onto the truck steering axle.
