17 Scottish Shorts on
BBC Film Network
The BBC’s Film Network has a selection of some great short films online to
view (and some to download) with a good batch of Scottish shorts in the
mix.
Featuring short films across a range of genres including drama, comedy,
documentary, animation, experimental and music, the website is a rich
resource of over 200 short films.
There are now 17 Scottish shorts to view including: Icicle Melt, Ma Boy,
Mono, The Rest is Silence, The Tree Officer and Who Do you Love.
Bryony McIntyre, from Scottish Screen’s Market Development team says:
“Previously it’s been pretty hard to see short films on demand. Festival
screenings and monthly short film nights aside, it’s great to see Scottish
shorts embracing new platforms for distribution and new audiences. It’s
an easy way to see some top new talent from the comfort of your own
computer.”
You can view the films, vote for your favourite, and submit your own short
film.
