DENON DEBUTS THE NEW DN-X1500 DJ MIXER
The ultimate in control and system versatility

Denon unveils the DN-X1500 4-channel 12inch mixer, as the latest addition to their
on-going line of professional DJ equipment. Designed to complement the highly
acclaimed DN-S5000 and DN-S3000 spinning platter tabletop CD/MP3 players – this
new tabletop mixer features a built-in sampler, matrix switching, effects and a USB
port for future software upgrades.
Offering an intuitive control surface that is adaptable to a wide range of mixer
applications, the DN-X1500 is suited to the diverse needs of turntablists and mobile
DJs, making it the most versatile mixer on the market.
The DN-X1500 supports 4 fully featured channels integrated with the ‘world’s first’
8-channel input matrix control, where each channel boasts 45mm channel faders, gain
control w/PFL levels, and 3-band EQ (on/off switchable) with parametric frequency
adjustment. Another studio quality feature is a Penny & Giles multi-channel
assignable cross fader with Contour Control.
On-board digital effects and features set the DN-X1500 apart from its competitors,
boasting an eight second sampler with nine effect types plus an Auto/Tap/Manual
BPM counter. The sampler utilises audio from any 6-mixer sources (Ch1, 2, 3, 4, Mic

and Master) and offers edit options including: Loop, Reverse, Reverse Loop, and
Single Playback with a Pitch control adjustment of up to ± 100%. Each of the effects
is supported by cutting edge DSP processing, along with Delay, Echo, Echo 2, Filter
1, Filter 2, Flanger, Auto Pan, Transform and Key adjust.
The ultimate in versatility, the DN-X1500 offers an extended stereo/return Effects
Loop that can be used in conjunction with the internal effects giving the DJ an
abundance of power across multiple channels. The wide range of output connections
includes: REC Out (unbalanced RCA) and Booth Out (unbalanced RCA) with Level
control that offers a unique and practical assign switch to monitor any beforehand
channel and effects.
The Digital outputs employ audiophile quality 24-bit Burr Brown converters for
optimum sound quality, while the Master Out section has separate attenuatable
Balanced (Stereo XLR) and Unbalanced (Stereo RCA) outputs with Master Balance
VR control and Stereo/Mono Select Switch on all XLR and RCA jacks.
A stereo headphone output with pre-set selectable EQ features, Headphone Cue,
Effects Cue, Mono/Split/Stereo, and Cue/PGM/Pan Controls provide added
monitoring options for the DJ. Denon has also provided another groundbreaking
mixer technological feature by outfitting the unit with a USB port for onboard
software and effects upgrades. An optional 19inch rack mount kit is also available.
The DN-X1500 is covered by one-year parts and labour warranty and has an RRP of
