QUICK TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE:<br />

regulator mechanism<br />

A: Re-aligning the throttle cable:<br />

• Check <strong>and</strong> re-align throttle<br />

cable (see A)<br />

• Remove debris (see B)<br />

• Refer to an authorised<br />

parts/service dealer<br />

1. From the back of the mower come around<br />

to the side on the right. The black plastic<br />

cover (1) you can see on the side of the<br />

engine is the air filter.<br />

2. To the LEFT of the air filter there is a<br />

vertical metal lever running up the side of<br />

the engine (it can be felt if you put your<br />

h<strong>and</strong> against the engine block <strong>and</strong> slide it<br />

towards the back of the mower along the<br />

side of the engine).<br />

3. From BELOW the air filter there is a black<br />

plastic covered cable (the throttle cable)<br />

which runs back along the side of the<br />

engine, across the back of the mower <strong>and</strong><br />

then up the h<strong>and</strong>le to the throttle lever.<br />

is pointing to the vertical metal<br />

lever (27) which is part of the<br />

regulator mechanism<br />

4. CHECK TO SEE IF THIS CABLE<br />

RUBBING AGAINST THAT VERTICAL<br />
