April 14 - Planning for College - Funding & Scholarships Lunch & Learn - Michael Prescott from Ohio Tuition
Trust will be speaking about College Advantage, a 529 Savings Plan. Then Connie Hawk and Karen
Jones from the Licking County Foundation will speak about the scholarships available to high school and
adults getting ready for college. The event will be held at Moundbuilders Country Club, 11:30 - 1:00 p.m.
April 22 - Business After Hours at McLain, Hill, Rugg & Associates - One week after tax returns are due, we
will meet at this accounting offi ce to celebrate the passing of April 15! You will be able to sample appetizers,
meet new people and partake in a cash bar.
May 6 - BIZ FEST and Taste of Licking County at Cherry Valley Lodge - This year’s theme: Business Safari:
It’s a jungle out there! With a new location, this annual business expo is a must on your list to exhibit or to
attend! There will be hundreds in attendance, so this will be a great way to showcase your business, make
contacts and have fun!
May 12 - Safety Council/Chamber Family Night at CoCo Key Water Resort - Bring your whole family for a
night of swimming and fun from 4 - 9 p.m. Cost is $12 per person and includes a personal pizza and soda!
May 20 - L.C. Chamber’s 4th Annual Corporate Putt-Putt Challenge/Business After Hours - Held at Big
League Baseball / Putterz - Get your team together. We’ll be giving out tons of prizes with lots of zany
categories to win from. Don’t want to play golf? Come anyway and enjoy this networking opportunity. A live
DJ will be present plus Pizza Cottage will be providing their delicious pizza.
June 3 - Business After Hours at Buckeye Winery and Park Place Coffee Roasters - Sample wine, food
courtesy of The Natoma and enjoy networking with friends.
June 16 - Eye-Opener at The Advocate - Join us for coffee and pastries and your morning news! Event will
be held from 7:00 - 8:30 a.m. Food courtesy of Park Place Coffee Roasters.
June 23 - Unveiling of Images Magazine - Join us at the Settlers ball game for the unveiling of Images and
some great fun before and during the ballgame!
July - HR for those without an HR Department Lunch & Learn by Scott Warrick, Consulting & Training

July 22 - Business After Hours at Newark Healthcare - A fun evening of networking from 5 - 7 p.m.
August 4 - Self-Defense Lunch & Learn - Annarino’s Martial Arts will teach you how to defend yourself
from would-be attackers at this informative luncheon sponsored by LCBR.
August 10 - Annual Awards Dinner - - Meet the new Board Members and award winners, hear what’s
new, enjoy dinner and listen to the keynote speaker at this annual event.
August - Business After Hours at Indian Mound Mall - Join us at the mall for a great evening of food, fun
and networking.
August 27 - Annual Golf Outing at The Links at Echo Springs - A twist on our annual event, this outing will
feature an 18-hole scamble, dinner & awards, but new this year will be a social hour and “glow in the
dark” contest on 6 holes as the sun goes down! Defi nitely a date you wont want to miss.
September 23 - Business After Hours at National Trail Raceway/JEGS Northern SPORTSnationals- Join us
in the tower for a birds-eye view of this race!
October - Business After Hours at White Feather Farms- You’ll get to sample some fi ne food and see this
unique facility.
November 4 - Business After Hours at Cherry Valley Lodge- You’ll have a chance to exhibit your business
at this mini trad show and after hours.
December 2 - Business After Hours at The Grill at Buckeye Lake - - Join us at this brand new restaurant
located directly on the lake! A great holiday event.
