The East Narthex door welcomes Centenary members
and guests to worship. Following worship as we take
God’s light out into the world, the Advent hymn,
“People, Look East” comes to mind as we exit the
narthex. Text from the hymn reads “People, look
east and sing today; Love, the Lord, is on the way.”
The painting is the first of a series created by Doug
Peninger. Look for the series to be available in Glad
Tidings in the fall.
