The East Narthex door welcomes Centenary members
and guests to worship. Following worship as we take
God’s light out into the world, the Advent hymn,
“People, Look East” comes to mind as we exit the
narthex. Text from the hymn reads “People, look
east and sing today; Love, the Lord, is on the way.”
The painting is the first of a series created by Doug
Peninger. Look for the series to be available in Glad
Tidings in the fall.
Heaven and Back, a non-fiction written by Mary C. Neal, MD. Dr. Neal, an accomplished spinal
orthopedist, writes with great suspense, the account of how a drowning accident affected her life.
If you are interested in near-death experiences, this one is a must read!
Everyone has loved the Wind and Willow mixes so much that we have located another vendor
