Warranty and TeleCheck Electronic Check Acceptance ® (ECA ® ) services, merchants have the ability
to accept checks in a safer, more reliable and more profitable environment.
The TeleCheck Warranty service acts like an insurance policy for merchants when accepting paper
checks as TeleCheck automatically guarantees the full amount of any check it approves, provided
that the merchants have met all its requirements.
The TeleCheck ECA program converts paper checks electronically at the point of sale and transfers
the money from the customer´s account to the merchant´s, acting in many ways like a debit card
payment.
Many terminals will support an external check reader, and some terminals have a built in check
reader. Which is right for you? This depends on desk space, speed, functionality, and price.

encryption. New PIN Pads must be encrypted at an additional cost of $30 per PIN Pad. Please send
in the Comments Field of the order the Encryption type you need. If you do not note the encryption
in the order, we will send you a PIN Pad with no Encryption.
If you have PINPads that need Encryption, you many send them in to be encrypted at a cost of $30
per PIN Pad. Please call to get an Encryption Return Request.
