MIDWESTERN REGION AWARD INFORMATION Women’s Opportunity Award o Federation provides the Region winner - $5,000 o Federation provides the Region 2 nd , 3 rd , & 4 th place winners - $3,000 each (Federation presents the 3 rd award because the Region maintains 100% club participation.) Violet Richardson Award o Federation provides the Region Winner - $1,000 and $1,000 in her name to the organization where she volunteers. o The Midwestern Region provides $100 to each of the 4 district winners Virginia Wagner Award o $2,500 is awarded to the Region winner o $500 is awarded to each District winner Ruby Award o $500 is awarded to the Region winner Spring Conference Awards Luncheon The Midwestern Region will cover the cost of meals for the winners of the Region Ruby Award winner, the Women’s Opportunity Award winners, the Violet Richardson Award winners and The Virginia Wagner Award winners. Any guests accompanying the winners is the responsibility of the sponsoring Club. Any travel, hotel or misc expenses are the responsibility of the sponsoring club. 30
Bag Lady Sales Due to limited space there will not be sales tables at the 2013 Spring Conference at the Dearborn, Inn. This should not stop you from selling your wares! If you would like to bring items to sell, you may sell during the conference out of your bag or set up shop in your hotel room. Be Creative 31
