Sotheby’s <strong>Institute</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Art</strong> in <strong>London</strong> is <strong>of</strong>fering a one-day course exploring the trends and highlights<br />

<strong>of</strong> contemporary jewellery. Experts such as Joanna Hardy, Senior Specialist from Sotheby’s<br />

Jewellery Department <strong>London</strong>, and world renowned jewellery designers including Leo de Vroomen<br />

(famed for his exquisite use <strong>of</strong> enamel) and Shaun Leane (one the UK’s hottest young design<br />

talents) will share their varied insights with course participants including exclusive handling sessions<br />

providing an opportunity to view rare pieces close up. The designers will give a fascinating<br />

perspective on the task <strong>of</strong> designing fashionable jewellery for today’s increasingly discerning<br />

market.<br />

The day is complete with a Champagne reception which will provide a unique opportunity for<br />

participants to network, discuss the day’s learnings, meet other course participants and have further<br />

discussions with the experts. The course takes place at the <strong>Institute</strong>’s premises situated in Bedford<br />

Square in the heart <strong>of</strong> <strong>London</strong>’s Bloomsbury near the British Museum.<br />
