established for the benefit <strong>of</strong> those<br />

with 25 years or more <strong>of</strong> continuous<br />

SPE membership, Century Club<br />

members, and current and former<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficers and directors, as well as this<br />

year’s SPE International award winners<br />

and Distinguished Lecturers.<br />

Business Center: The UPS Store is<br />

located <strong>of</strong>f the lobby bridge, Street<br />

Level. It will be open 0800–1830,<br />

Monday–Friday. Contact The UPS Store<br />

Conference Bags: Full and 1-day paid<br />

attendees can pick up a complimentary<br />

conference bag at Registration. A<br />

ticket, which is included with the<br />

conference badge, is required to<br />

pick up a bag.<br />

Knowledge Sharing ePosters:<br />

Knowledge Sharing ePosters are<br />

located in the Bridge Hall prefunction<br />

area, Concourse Level. An ePoster is<br />

an electronic poster presented on a<br />

flat-screen monitor. It <strong>of</strong>fers animation,<br />

audio, and video to provide greater<br />

interactivity between the attendee<br />

and the poster author. See each day’s<br />

technical program for the schedule.<br />

Internet Access: SPE is <strong>of</strong>fering free<br />

wireless internet access in the meeting<br />

rooms and lobbies <strong>of</strong> the convention<br />

center. The SSID for the wireless access<br />

is ATCE2012.<br />

Lost and Found: SPE Headquarters,<br />

Room 207A, Concourse Level.<br />

Luggage Check: Luggage check is<br />

available near the escalator at the west<br />

registration area, Street Level. The<br />

price is USD 3 per checked item.<br />

Member Services: In the SPE Pavilion,<br />

Booth 3350 on the exhibit floor, SPE<br />

staff members are available to answer<br />

questions about membership, dues,<br />

online mentoring opportunities,<br />

continuing education programs,<br />

publications, sections, and student<br />

activities, plus other SPE programs<br />

and services.<br />

Press: Members <strong>of</strong> the working press<br />

are invited to use the amenities<br />

in the Press Room, Room 216A,<br />

Concourse Level. The Press Conference<br />

Room is located in Room 216B,<br />

Concourse Level.<br />

Proceedings: Proceedings distribution<br />

is located in the SPE Pavilion, Booth<br />

3350 on the exhibit floor. Proceedings<br />

can be picked up during exhibit hours.<br />

Picking up proceedings requires<br />

a ticket, included in registration<br />

or purchased.<br />

SPE Bookstore: The latest technical<br />

books are on display in the SPE<br />

Pavilion, Booth 3350 on the exhibit<br />

floor. Attendees also can pick up books<br />

purchased online.<br />

SPE On Demand: ATCE <strong>of</strong>fers SPE<br />

On Demand, an online portal to<br />

access the ATCE 2012 presentations,<br />

digitally recorded and available as<br />

audio synchronized to PowerPoint<br />

presentations. Following the<br />

conference, all attendees who paid<br />

the full registration fees will receive<br />

complimentary access to SPE On<br />

Demand. Other attendees may<br />

purchase access separately. Visit<br />

Policies and Procedures:<br />

Attendee Qualifications: All attendees<br />

are required to wear their ATCE<br />

name badge and badge holder at all<br />

times. Use <strong>of</strong> a badge by a person not<br />

named on the badge is grounds for<br />

confiscation. If you lose your badge,<br />

please return to Registration to obtain<br />

a replacement. No one younger than<br />

15 is permitted in the exhibition area<br />

during <strong>of</strong>ficial show hours.<br />

Mobile Phone Policy: As a courtesy to<br />

speakers and fellow attendees, please<br />

silence your mobile devices during<br />

meetings and sessions.<br />

Photography: All SPE sessions are<br />

protected by US copyright laws.<br />

Photography and video/audio<br />

recording <strong>of</strong> any kind are strictly<br />

prohibited in the sessions and<br />

throughout the exhibition area.<br />

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited at the<br />

Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center<br />

except in designated areas.<br />

Safety: One <strong>of</strong> the key components to<br />

the success <strong>of</strong> ATCE is the safety <strong>of</strong> our<br />

attendees and presenters. Because <strong>of</strong><br />

the popularity <strong>of</strong> some session topics,<br />

overcrowding is possible in a session or<br />

meeting room. Should this occur, we<br />

must comply with policies regarding<br />

room capacity and limit attendance to<br />

a room that is at capacity. Please make<br />

plans to arrive early for sessions that<br />

you have a strong interest in attending.<br />

Guests With Disabilities: We take<br />

pride in ensuring that our meetings<br />

and events are accessible to all<br />

attendees with special needs. The<br />

Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center is<br />

equipped with elevators and automatic<br />
