<strong>2008</strong> <strong>Rigger</strong> <strong>Rodeo</strong><br />

• <strong>Rigger</strong> units Army wide are invited to<br />

participate in the <strong>2008</strong> All Army <strong>Rigger</strong> <strong>Rodeo</strong><br />

to be held at Fort Bragg, NC from 22-26 Sep<br />

08.<br />

• The <strong>Rigger</strong> <strong>Rodeo</strong> will be a multi-event<br />

competition to determine the BEST <strong>Rigger</strong><br />

Company in the Army, concluded by<br />

recognition at the <strong>Rigger</strong> Ball.


Events<br />

• Day 0: In-brief for Team Captains and issue training outline on 21 Sep 08.<br />

• Day 1: 3 Mile Red <strong>hat</strong> run (post wide), packing of MC1-1D parachute and<br />

SLCP Mirps parachute<br />

• Day 2: PT Test. Airborne Operation or packing of G-12E parachute,<br />

rigging of CDS<br />

• Day 3: 4Mil Mile foot march. Airborne Aib Operation, or parachute patch<br />

replacement and suspension line splice<br />

• Day 4: Written Test/make up for any of the above<br />

• Day 5: <strong>Rigger</strong> ball/placement awards at the Fort Bragg Officers Club


Coordination Requirements<br />

• Each team will consist of 3 skill level one’s<br />

and a 1 NCO t<strong>hat</strong> is Jumpmaster qualified and<br />

current.<br />

• Teams must be submitted to SFC Trail by 1<br />

July <strong>2008</strong>. Once the list is complete he will<br />

contact the local Hotels and arrange for several<br />

accommodation locations.<br />

• Units sending teams will be responsible for<br />

TDY funds for this event.
