The call was incredible. Amy talked to Matthew as if he were in her
arms. The nurse showed everyone his incision and how it was healing,
and provided an update on his progress. After his bottle, Matthew was
tired and so was everyone on our end of the call.
Amy expressed her gratitude for all we had done, but we were also
grateful. We were grateful that the technology worked, that everything
fell into place. We were grateful to Amy and Baby Matthew for allowing
us to help connect them. In those moments, we could all feel the
presence of the Lord.
