with over 200 delegates and staff from 85 National Associations and six
Regional Associations in attendance. SIC was proud of Kewalee since
she was successfully recruited to help out on this event. The training and
the experience she gained from this volunteer work will surely benefit
her future career.
SIC students were presented Dean's list awards. These awards
are annually presented to students who have demonstrated outstanding
achievements in various areas. The outstanding academic achievement
awards went to Mr. Borpit Tantayanusorn and Ms. Watinee Jumnongsart
with GPA of 4.00 and 3.98 respectively. Outstanding community service
award were presented to Ms. Suchada Chanathuk and Ms. Mantana
Onnom. Also the outstanding achievement awards in recognition of
activity participation were given to Ms. Nongnooch Rodjinda and
Ms. Phannita Weerakulkaset. Congratulations.
Ms. Patcharee Supapean, a 3rd year student at Sripatum
International College, participated in 4 month study at Baise University
in China as a scholarship student under the Faculty and Student Exchange
Program between Thailand and Great Mekong Sub-region (GMS) countries.
She brought SIC a big smile by winning the 1st prize in the Chinese
speech contest from Guangxi Nongken Cup Foreign language Speech
Contest in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of ASIAN-China Dialogue
Relations.
Mr. Attapol Yimchuay and Mr. Abdul Rahman, as SIC team,
won the 3 rd prize in ASEAN Quiz organized by Sripatum University.
They have been assigned to participate in ASEAN Contest 2012 to win
a trophy and the gratuity from the Prime Minister.
SIC students run the "Pasa Pasorn 2012" project at the community
of Bang Bua teaching Fundamental English to the children.
SIC students participated in the project "CSR Campus Campaign"
and presented their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) project proposal
with a title of "ตามรอยพ่ออยู ่หัว กับบางบัว ที ่ยั ่งยืน". SIC team and other 10
teams of students from other universities are selected for the scholarship
offer, and that will help them to put their project plans into practice.
