Accommodation “Rajski Konaci”
The region of Takovo, known for its tumultuous past and
hedonistic beauty, is the pioneer and champion of rural tourism
in Serbia. Gentle hills, picturesque villages, hospitable people
and the winding paths which present you with different scenery
invite you to explore this charming corner of Serbia, which
you will be reluctant to leave. The Pustinja Monastery is three
kilometres away from Poćuta, a place in the regional road Valjevo
– Bajina Bašta. There, on the final slopes of Povlen, you will see
countless raspberry fields. Right after the Pustinja Gorge, the
Jablanica River enters a spacious valley, only to come into the
narrow Jovanjska Gorge in some five or six kilometres. In the
gorge there are visible high contours of the future dam which will
block the Jablanica and form a large lake. The future lake will be a
long-term solution to the drinking water problems in the region
of Valjevo, most likely opening new possibilities for tourists who
decide to visit this beautiful place.
The ethno household of the Jevtović family called “Rajski konaci”
in the village of Leušići is a typical representative of the region
of Takovo. Gourmets, long distance hikers, party seekers and
families with small children can all find their place in this heavenly
household. And they are sure to come back. The lodgings have
extended their offer with a conference hall for smaller groups
of people. In 2010 this household was awarded the “Tourism
Flower” for their excellence and contribution in the development
of tourism. In the immediate vicinity of Leušići, there is also the
village of Koštunići with a new ethno complex which includes a
large swimming pool.
