Caterpillar announces the availability of the new standard flow
Cat Snow Blower for Cat Skid Steer Loaders and Multi Terrain
Loaders. Designed for removing snow from streets, parking lots,
driveways and sidewalks, Cat Snow Blowers are ideal for a variety
of winter clean-up and maintenance applications. A hydraulically
driven auger, impeller, rotating discharge chute and deflector
enables the snow blower to move snow quickly and efficiently,
even in heavy, wet conditions. The addition of the Cat Snow
Blower further enhances Caterpillar’s work tool offerings for
specific application requirements.

The Cat Snow Blower has a unique impeller design, which balances
power and torque to maximize capacity and throwing distance
while minimizing the chance of plugging. The direct-drive auger
and impeller can be reversed to expel obstructions without leaving
the cab. The non-binding rotating chute incorporates a non-metallic
liner to prevent plugging and freeze-ups. The chute and deflector
are actuated via a separate control panel that is standard with all
Cat Snow Blowers. The two-switch control panel can be cabmounted
on all machines and requires a 12-volt power source.
Cat Snow Blowers operate on standard flow hydraulics and
are available in three intake widths to fit specific application
requirements.

System. Units will ship direct from the manufacturer to the dealer
beginning mid-October.
