Overview<br />
<strong>Sri</strong> <strong>Lanka</strong> <strong>Cricket</strong> (SLC) is the national sports association for the <strong>Cricket</strong> in <strong>Sri</strong> <strong>Lanka</strong>. SLC wishes to appoint an<br />
event management company to Plan & Implement the CEAT-SLC Annual <strong>Cricket</strong> Awards for the year 2012.<br />
The Event is scheduled to be held in the beginning of the month of September 2012.<br />
The SLC and CEAT brands are recognized internationally and events conducted by them provide a unique<br />
opportunity to showcase the sport of <strong>Cricket</strong> to a global audience. Due to the significant e media exposure<br />
that this Awards Ceremony will attract, SLC expects all of its suppliers for the Event, including in particular<br />
any supplier of the Services for the Opening Ceremony, to be capable of providing services of a standard<br />
comparable with those currently being provided to leading international sporting organizations and rights<br />
holders of world class international sporting events.<br />
Requisites of the applicant<br />
• Applicant should have extensive proven experience in providing services similar to the Services.<br />
• Applicant should have a strong financial background.<br />
• Applicant should possess sufficient resources (including adequately trained personnel) to provide the<br />
Services.<br />
• Applicant to be responsible for the development of the creative content and production of the<br />
ceremony, showcasing the sporting achievements, culture and people of the host nations as well as<br />
implementing all production and stage.<br />

Submission<br />
In the RFP, each Applicant is invited to submit its <strong>Proposal</strong> for the right to plan and implement the CEAT-SLC<br />
<strong>Cricket</strong> Awards 2012 and each Applicant must provide an indicative budget in relation to the content of its<br />
<strong>Proposal</strong>.<br />
All offers/ proposals should be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “OFFER FOR PLANNING &<br />
IMPLEMENTATION OF CEAT-SLC CRICKET AWARDS 2012” and addressed to Head of Marketing &<br />
