John Wallis is Professor of Economics at the University of Maryland.
His fields of specialization are economic history, state and local
government finances, the New Deal, the 1830s, and institutional
change.
Barry Weingast is Professor of Political Science at the California
Institute of Technology and recipient of the William H. Riker Prize.
Daron Acemoglu is Professor of Applied Economics at the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology, and recipient of the prestigious
John Bates Clark Medal from the American Economics Association.
Dani Rodrik is Professor of International Political Economy at the
John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, and
a recipient of the Albert O. Hirschman Prize of the Social Science
Research Council and the Leontief Award for Advancing the Frontiers
of Economic Thought. His most recent book is One Economics,
Many Recipes: Globalization, Institutions, and Economic Growth.
Francis Fukuyama is a Professor of International Political Economy,
School of Advanced International Studies, Johns Hopkins University.
He is the author of The End of History and the Last Man (1992),
which was awarded the Los Angeles Times’ Book Critics Award, and
more recently of State-Building: Governance and World Order in the
21st Century (2004).
