The MPCD-2 is a dual CD/MP3 player designed to introduce MP3 playback at a cost effective level.

This lead should be connected between the audio output on the CD player and a 

CD or line input on the mixer. 

Most mixers have a switch on each channel to allow you to select between 

Phono/Line or Phono/CD - this is because CD player and turntable generate 

different levels of signal (a turntable is much lower level and therefore needs 

pre-amplifiying to bring it to the same level as a CD - hence the switch). 

It doesn't really matter which colour phono plug you connect into each channel 

as long as you connect left to left and right to right. 

The normal convention is RED = RIGHT and WHITE/BLACK = LEFT

To connect your mixer to your PC or MAC you will typically need a USB-A to USB-B lead. You won't need to install a 

driver and the mixer will show as an available sound input and output device (usually listed as "USB Audio Codec").

The Citronic AC-1USB is essentially an audio 

capture device, allowing the conversion of 

analogue audio, such as vinyl or tapes, to 

be converted to high quality digital sound 

files, thus enabling it to be used in the digital 

world of iPods, MP3 players and computer 

software. 

Simplicity is the key, everything about it has 

been designed to make it as easy as possible 

to connect and start recording. 

The AC-1USB is a high quality USB soundcard 

with a built-in phono pre-amp housed in a 

smart plastic housing, making it lightweight, 

robust and compact. 

It has stereo RCA inputs and outputs, 

a phono/line selector switch, a ground 

connection for use with turntables and a 1.5m 

cable with a USB ‘A’ male connector.

The AC-1USB can also be used with other 

sound recording sortware. 

Connection of the AC-1USB is simple - once 

you have loaded the Audacity software, 

connect your source device, such as a 

turntable to the AC-1USB, select the correct 

input phono, if a turntable is connected and 

line for anything else. 

Next connect the USB connector to 

your computer. 

The AC-1USB will work straight away 

with the USB audio device drivers 

built-in to Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP or 

Mac OS. 

Open the Audacity software, go to 

“Preferences”, and set the playback and 

recording device from the drop down menu 

to "USB Audio Codec" 

Choose channels (2 Stereo) and tick software 

playthrough box. You’re done. For simple 

recording press play on the source device and 

record in the software, once done save the 

file. There are more advanced options once 

you get used to it, but to get you going its 

that simple. 

The AC-1USB is not just to record your vinyl, 

it has other uses to record digitally. If you are 

a live band you can connect it to the record 

output of the main mixer and record your set. 

If you are a DJ you can record your set, 

speech, jingles, what ever you like through 

your existing mixer straight to digital.

clamp to ensure once fixed it doesn't move, the clamp with fit on any table top up to a depth of 

10cm and has a cushioned top to prevent damage to wooden surfaces. The platform arm has three 

elbows allowing the platform to be set in virtually any position, the platform itself also has a tilt 

adjustment and 10mm lip all around to prevent the unit from being accidentally knocked off. Each

The first thing you need to do is copy 

some MP3 files on to the flash drive 

The files should be in a DRM free 

standard .mp3 format (this means files 

downloaded from the iTunes music 

store won't work). 

You can put the files directly on to the 

drive or group them in folders first 

- the player will find them! 

Safely unmount the flash drive from 

your PC and then plug-it into the USB 

slot on the front of the amplifier. 

Select "USB audio" on the front panel 

and click play. 

The pause/play button works as 

you'd expect and the forwards and 

backwards buttons let you skip tracks.

This complete active sound system has been designed for maximum performance and superior 

sound quality. The 15" subwoofer delivers 400W of high energy bass perfectly matched to the clean 

and crisp sound delivered from the 2-way satellites. A portable system ideal for mobile DJ, bars, 

PA and performance artists, who want to achieve a greater cleaner level of sound. Supplied with 

protective covers.
