Gobos are the foundation of Apollo. The knowledge, experience, tools, and resources we have to review,
recommend, and transform custom artwork into detailed metal and high resolution glass gobos – for any
light and application within the required timetable – is unmatched.
From Apollo’s annual commitment to provide fresh, usable patterns to lighting designers around the world,
our library of standard gobos has grown to become one of the most extensive in the industry. Introducing
new designs is something you can count on from Apollo . . . year after year. While this catalog shows only
a portion of the gobos we offer for providing ideas and solutions to your design needs, all Apollo patterns
can be conveniently viewed at www.apollodesign.net.
Our process switch to new, clean laser technology from chemical etching for both metal and glass
gobos also reinforces Apollo’s leadership position in gobo manufacturing. The benefits of this
change to the environment and workplace safety are important to many. But image detail,
consistency, and overall product quality are important to everyone. As today’s laser technology
produces incredible gobos, Apollo confidently accepts
any side-by-side challenge to showcase it.
As Apollo products are essential tools for lighting designers to
create visually stimulating environments, the four qualities of
lighting – intensity, color, texture, and focus – will be represented
graphically in our product information resources.
INTENSITY. This quality of lighting begins with the light source
and is influenced by many elements including the presence of
ambient light and patterns. Apollo is committed, on a daily basis,
to demonstrating our intensity for producing, delivering, and
supporting gobos in ways that build the strongest
relationships among dealers and end users.
