<strong>Platinum</strong> <strong>Indulgence</strong> <strong>Rewards</strong> - Programme Details<br />

• <strong>Standard</strong> <strong>Chartered</strong> <strong>Bank</strong> expressly reserves the rights at any time and without any previous notice to alter, modify,<br />

change or vary the rate at which the <strong>Rewards</strong> Plus points are awarded and redeemed.<br />

• The <strong>Standard</strong> <strong>Chartered</strong> ‘<strong>Platinum</strong> <strong>Indulgence</strong> <strong>Rewards</strong>’ programme is open only to <strong>Standard</strong> <strong>Chartered</strong> <strong>Platinum</strong><br />

Credit Card member (Card member). This rewards programme (Programme) will not be available to other credit<br />

cards of <strong>Standard</strong> <strong>Chartered</strong> <strong>Bank</strong> (<strong>Bank</strong>) unless otherwise communicated in writing by the <strong>Bank</strong>.<br />

• The scheme will remain open till such time as may be terminated by the <strong>Bank</strong> at its sole discretion<br />

• Offers against all products and services featured in the catalogue are valid for limited period and the <strong>Bank</strong> reserves<br />

the sole right to exclude these in subsequent editions of the catalogue if any<br />

• No accumulation or carry over or redemption of reward points will be permissible, if on the relevant date any Card<br />

in the <strong>Platinum</strong> Credit Card (“Card”) account be it a primary, supplementary, multiple or any other Card has been<br />

withdrawn or closed or cancelled or reinstated or is liable to be cancelled / withdrawn or if the Card account is a<br />

delinquent account or if there is any breach of the terms and conditions of the Card member’s agreement. The<br />

reward points will lapse in the event that such a Card account is closed either voluntarily by the Card member or<br />

by the <strong>Bank</strong> at its discretion whether or not the Card member dues are cleared. Should the Card account be<br />

reinstated, either by the Card member or by the <strong>Bank</strong>, the Card member will not get the benefit of any points<br />

accrued prior to cancellation or withdrawal or closure of the Card account<br />

• In the event of voluntary closure of the Card by a Card member, the reward points that are in the Card account can<br />

be redeemed within a month of such closure. Failure to redeem these points within a month of closure will lead to<br />

the reward points automatically lapsing redemption<br />

• Points accrued can only be redeemed by the primary Card member and not by a supplementary Card member<br />

• Card member need to have a minimum of 500 Reward points whenever or 1st time they wish to redeem their<br />

platinum reward points<br />

• The platinum reward points are redeemable only against products, vouchers or services featured in the rewards<br />

catalogue and against any other products, vouchers or services as intimated from time to time by the <strong>Bank</strong> under<br />

the Programme<br />

• All products featured in the ‘<strong>Platinum</strong> <strong>Indulgence</strong> <strong>Rewards</strong>’ catalogue are subject to availability of the goods and<br />

supplier warranty restrictions at the time of redemption. The <strong>Bank</strong> gives no warranty (whether expressly or implied)<br />

whatsoever with respect to product / services acquired under the ‘<strong>Platinum</strong> <strong>Indulgence</strong> <strong>Rewards</strong>’ programme<br />

either directly through the <strong>Platinum</strong> <strong>Rewards</strong> programme or through other partner loyalty programmes. In particular,<br />

the <strong>Bank</strong> gives no warranty with respect to the quality of goods acquired or their suitability for any purpose<br />

• The gift article would be addressed to the customer’s name and mailing address as on the <strong>Bank</strong> records. The<br />

customer is expected to receive the consignment at the mailing address. The <strong>Bank</strong> is not liable for loss or damage<br />

of goods in case of the customer not being available in person to receive the gift article


• In the case of the exact model / brands of merchandise mentioned in the rewards brochure not being available at<br />

the time of redemption, the <strong>Bank</strong> or the program coordinator may provide an alternate equivalent brand / model<br />

of the product or refund / reinstate points<br />

• Redemption orders from the Card member once given to the <strong>Bank</strong> cannot be cancelled or withdrawn or changed<br />

• On redemption, the reward points would automatically be subtracted from the accumulated points in the Card<br />

member account<br />

• Goods will reach the primary Card member within 4-6 weeks of receipt of the order on a best effort basis.<br />

Notwithstanding the same, the <strong>Bank</strong> will not be held liable for any delay beyond this time period<br />

• Member must take open delivery of rewards from the courier or outlet and must not accept damaged products.<br />

Any complaints post acknowledgement will not be treated as valid<br />

• All products / vouchers are subject to availability and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis<br />

• Orders will be fulfilled in the order in which they are received and accepted by the <strong>Bank</strong><br />

• Card member is solely responsible for any government tax, duties or other charges imposed by law in any country<br />

in respect of the programme, participation in the programme and any points converted or acquired or any other<br />

transaction within the programme. The <strong>Bank</strong> will not have any liability towards any taxes or other expenditures or<br />

the like which may apply to the Card member or the rewards hereunder<br />

• Pictures or any artwork shown in the ‘<strong>Platinum</strong> <strong>Indulgence</strong> <strong>Rewards</strong>’ catalogue is only indicative of the rewards.<br />

Actual reward may vary<br />

• No credit or substitution will be given for goods that are partially used<br />

• A redemption request form is only valid for rewards showcased in the reward brochure. Redemption rewards<br />

cannot be exchanged for cash.
