Crisis Intervention Program,

families off the streets and on their way
to safer, more productive lives by providing
emergency assistance for such necessities
as shelter advocacy, food, baby formula,
medication, and work uniforms.
• The Coalition helped more than 12,000
people in the last year with grants for
essentials such as diapers, work boots,
subway fare, and clothing.

Grand Central Food Program (GCFP)
is a lifeline for hundreds of homeless individuals
and families who live rough on city
streets by delivering food, clothing, blankets,
and personal-hygiene items at 31 sites 365
days a year.
• In the past year alone the
Grand Central Food Program handed out
over 1,000 emergency meals every
night – that’s over 300,000 meals annually!
• GCFP’s mobile outreach workers build
relationships with street-bound homeless
people and encourage them to take
advantage of other Coalition programs.
This is the first critical step to leaving life
on the streets behind.
