CHANGING SPACES

When you come to the front desk in
the Administration Office, you will
not find Graciela Salvador. She has
moved down the hall to a new office
and is now the Recruiting/Admissions
Director.
Changing spaces is not new to
Graciela. Since she arrived at St.
Catherine’s in 1998, she has had
many jobs: Receptionist, Registrar, School Secretary,
Resident Care Provider, International Student Liaison,
Administration Assistant, and now, Recruiting/Admissions
Director. The position of her office
may have changed, but her cheerful, warm, gracious
manner will be here to welcome you whenever you
come to campus.

Academy and the Dominican
Sisters of Mission San Jose,
were honored for their outstanding
service. Mr. Larry
Zaborowski, a.k.a. “Major,”
was the MC for the evening.
Miss Anaheim and her court
joined the Ball as escorts for
some of our eighth grade
cadets during the Grand
March and waltz. Many of
our Alumni Cadets volunteered
their time during the
event. Alumni interested in
volunteering for the 2009
Military Ball and those interested
in purchasing a video
tape of the 2008 Military Ball
should call the school. Next
year’s Military Ball will again
be held at The Richard
Nixon Library on January 17,
2009. We hope you will join
us for this great event!

NEW DIRECTOR OF ADVANCEMENT
AND MARKETING

We are pleased to welcome Joanna Mangeney, our
new Director of Advancement/Marketing. Joanna is
not only new to our school; she’s also new to southern
California. She comes to us from Phoenix, Arizona
where she spent the last year as a teacher. She
graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a
degree in Economics and Latin and has past experience
in development and education.
She is extremely excited to
be a member of the St. Catherine’s
community. We are very grateful
for Joanna’s presence and the incredible
change she has already
made in our advancement and
marketing programs! Welcome,
Joanna!
