someone you know is interested in
becoming a Catholic, please contact
about the Church to help discern the
extent of his/her call to become a
Catholic. The RCIA process starts in
September and comes to a completion
with the reception of the sacraments of
initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and
Thank You Gardening Angels
When we pray, much like when we garden, we cultivate a relationship with
God. Just as rain and sun are essential elements to successful gardening, the
challenges and gifts in our lives also provide us with more bountiful blessings.
Thank you to the following Gardening Angels who have volunteered to
weed and garden the parish grounds, and to Tom Rowander, the managing
Angel. May you all be blessed with the bountiful blessings as you have given to
our parish.
We could use more volunteers to continue to tackle those remaining bush beds.
Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner
The Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner ministry will continue in
September. The basis of the “Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner Program,”
is that a group of people go to another parishioner’s home for dinner
one Saturday a month and they are only given the address, phone
number and what to bring, i.e., appetizer, salad, vegetable, or
dessert. The size of the dinner is based on the number of people that
each host can accommodate. You do not have to host a dinner to be
part of the program. For additional information or to register, call Fran
at 724-772-2063 or Wilma at 724-776-9177 ext. 304 or
