Dear Members & Guests,
Today, we are celebrating Men’s Day. In so doing, we are
highlighting the positive male role models here at St John and
celebrating their achievements and contributions in the
community, their family, marriage, and with their children.
The ability to sacrifice your needs on behalf of others is
fundamental to manhood. Men make sacrifices everyday in
their place of work, in their role as husbands and fathers, for
their families, friends, communities and nation. Men’s Day is
an opportunity for members and guests to appreciate and
celebrate the men in their lives and the contribution they make
to society for the greater good of all.
We welcome our guest preacher today, Rev. Dr. Steven Russell
from Calvary Baptist Church, Baltimore. Pray for and with him
that as he preaches today, more men will be inspired to do, give
their lives to the Lord, and do more for Him in the church and
our surrounding community.
Be blessed,
Pastor Robert Turner
Baptist Church! On behalf of the entire
St John family, allow me to take this
opportunity to thank our friends, guests
and members for choosing to help us lift
up the name of Jesus here today. We
say to you who are unsaved-join Jesus!
To you who are unchurched-join us in
membership, as we seek to make
disciples of Jesus Christ.

OUR MISSION
To be a thriving spiritual center that reaches out locally and globally with love
and acceptance to everyone, and where our members and ministries can
achieve their full potential for and through Christ.
(Acts 2:41-47)
Discipleship Outcomes (This is what we want to accomplish in
every person’s life that comes our way by F.A.I.T.H.)
Foster opportunities for service according to God-given gifts and
passions, and loving fellowship (fellowship & service)
Adore God through joyful worship (worship)
Instruct people toward Christ-like maturity (discipleship)
Train and empower leaders for meaningful ministries (leadership)
Honor our responsibility to attract and win souls for Christ, church
membership, and compassionately meet the needs of the broken,
