2013 Joint <strong>City</strong>-School Anti-Bullying Task Force<br />
<strong>Upstander</strong> <strong>Poster</strong> <strong>Contest</strong><br />

Who May Enter<br />
Participants may submit one poster<br />
in one <strong>of</strong> the following categories:<br />
• Grades K-2<br />
• Grades 3-5<br />
• Grades 6-8<br />
• Grades 9-12<br />
• Workplace<br />
• Seniors<br />
<strong>Poster</strong> <strong>Contest</strong> Rules<br />
• Completed poster size must be on a vertical or horizontal 8 ½” by 11” white sheet <strong>of</strong> paper.<br />
• The word ‘upstander’ must be included on the poster.<br />
• <strong>Poster</strong> should depict visual <strong>of</strong> what an upstander is or someone being an upstander.<br />
• Be creative. Any media is acceptable (crayons, paint, color pencil, photograph, graphic art).<br />
• Release & Permission Form MUST be returned with artwork to enter the <strong>Upstander</strong> <strong>Poster</strong> <strong>Contest</strong>.<br />
Winning <strong>Poster</strong>s<br />
• <strong>Poster</strong> contest winners will be featured in the 2013/2014 <strong>City</strong>-School Calendar.<br />
• Winning posters and other select posters will be displayed at the Children First Ice Cream Social.<br />
• We reserve the right to not use poster art from all age groups.<br />

By signing this release form, I acknowledge that I/my child voluntarily participated in the 2013 <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Louis</strong> <strong>Park</strong> Joint<br />
<strong>City</strong>-School Anti-Bullying Task Force “<strong>Upstander</strong>” <strong>Poster</strong> <strong>Contest</strong>.<br />
I willingly submit my/my child’s poster for use by the <strong>City</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Louis</strong> <strong>Park</strong> and <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Louis</strong> <strong>Park</strong> Public Schools. I<br />
give my consent to use my name/my child’s name and photo with the poster contest and other pieces that may be<br />
made as a result <strong>of</strong> it such as, but not limited to, the 2013/2014 <strong>City</strong>-School Calendar, printed pieces, video and the<br />
<strong>City</strong> and School District websites.<br />
I understand that select posters will be displayed at the Children First Ice Cream Social on Sunday, May 19, 2013,<br />
and at public locations in the community thereafter. I hold the <strong>City</strong> and School District harmless for any claims or<br />
damages based on the use <strong>of</strong> the poster.<br />
