Edition 9 - St Marylebone School

Congratulations to Year 7s for their fantastic effort in
International Evening last week. From African Drumming
to Edith Piaf, from ballet to Bollywood, from Aboriginal
dream stories to Appalachian choral songs, performers
took us on a whistle-stop tour of the cultures of the world,
ending with a whole-cast rendition of a Kenyan Swahili
song (pictured). The students were delighted, the parents
were thrilled, and when the dust had settled, we all had a
broader vision of the cultural wealth and diversity of both
our school and our planet. Watch this space for the
