Engine <strong>Vespa</strong> <strong>LX</strong> <strong>125</strong> - <strong>150</strong> <strong>4T</strong> <strong>Euro</strong> 3<br />

- Insert the retention plate and tighten the two<br />

screws shown in the figure to the prescribed torque.<br />

Locking torques (N*m)<br />

Locking torque 4 ÷ 6<br />

- Refit the spacer on the cam shaft.<br />

- Rotate the engine so that the piston is at top dead<br />

centre, using the reference marks on the flywheel<br />

and the crankcase.<br />

- While doing so, fit the chain onto the control camshaft<br />

pulley and keep the reference 2V in correspondence<br />

with the reference mark on the head.<br />

- Fit the pulley onto the camshaft.<br />

- Assemble the counterweight with the corresponding<br />

fixing screw and tighten to the specified<br />

torque.<br />

Locking torques (N*m)<br />

Locking torque 7 ÷ 8.5<br />

-Fit the end-stop ring on the automatic valve-lifter<br />

cam and fit the automatic valve-lifter cam to the<br />

cam shaft.<br />

- Fit the automatic valve-lifter return spring.<br />

- During this operation the spring must be loaded<br />

approximately 180°.<br />

N.B.<br />

GREASE THE END STOP RING TO PREVENT<br />

IT COMING OUT AND FALLING INTO THE EN-<br />

GINE.<br />
