ROOM AT THE INN St. Peter Parish hosted 8 homeless guests on Friday, Oct. 15. Our guests were a mom and her three children, ages 4 to 18 years old, and two single women. Thanks to the following parish volunteers who so generously donated their time and talent: Marsha Bauer, Brian Fitzgerald, Scott Seaton, Susan Masi and family, Judy Jackson, the girls from Girl Scout Troop 341, Christian Trevino, Seth Roethemeyer, Adam Scott, Jack Veldey, Pat Torrillo and members of the Bryan, Anderson, Rogers and Snider families. Our guests received a welcome smile, clean and ready bed, delicious food, and fun company for the evening. The Room at the Inn program is a great opportunity to practice stewardship by sharing some of our time and blessings with those who are not as fortunate. Volunteers are always welcome, especially men and women willing to stay overnight with our guests. If you are interested in knowing more about the program, call Jim (965-1939) or Larry (821-7929).
