Alumni Answer Call to Help<br />

Jewell Cardwell, wrote in her<br />
November 24, 2008 column<br />
about 1971 <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Vincent</strong> <strong>High</strong><br />
<strong>School</strong> alumna Sue Lang. Sue<br />
suffers from MS, but has<br />
continued her work as a<br />
dispatcher with the Akron Police<br />
Department and is known as a<br />
dependable and compassionate<br />
person by those who work with<br />
her. This article spurred many<br />
people into action, among them<br />
Sue’s 1971 <strong>St</strong>. <strong>Vincent</strong> classmates!<br />
New <strong>St</strong>udent Activity Center<br />
The <strong>St</strong>udent Activity Center is<br />
being constructed between the<br />
school and the football field to<br />
unify the campus and integrate<br />
the new facility with the existing<br />
one. It is slated to be completed<br />
by August 1, <strong>2009</strong>, for the <strong>2009</strong>-<br />
2010 school year.<br />

Congratulations to our four<br />

Irish Crusaders. Our annual<br />
dinner honoring the Alumni<br />
