she is now a publicist for the 50th
London Film Festival.

Who is she? Originally
from Peru, Ana lived in
California, where she
worked as a make-up
artist for Fox TV and
Elite and LA Models
agency. But that all
changed when she visited Scotland on
holiday and fell in love with it. She set up
her own company, Dirt, in Glasgow two
years ago and hasn’t looked back. “It’s
refreshing here,” she says. “When people
say they’re friends, they really mean it.”
Ana has worked with the Fratellis and
the Dykeenies and backstage for Armani
at this year’s London Fashion Week.

Dream date “Jarvis Cocker. I’ve been a fan
of Pulp since I was 12, and to me he’s one
of the most interesting artists. I reckon

Who is she? Scotland’s
best-known snowboarder,
Lesley
competed in the last
two Winter Olympics
and is gearing up for
the January’s 2007
World Championships. Lesley added
another string to her bow when she set
up Chunkyknit Productions in 2003,
which makes all-girl snowboarding films.
As well as competing in the half-pipe
event at the World Cup in Switzerland,
she has spent the past fortnight attending
premières of their latest film, Last Winter.

Dream date “Taking Borat on a surfing trip
to the Isle of Lewis, followed by a night
