CLEA TAMMES
PUBLICIST AND
PRODUCER, 32
NEW
Lives London.
Who is she? With a background
in production
and talent management,
Clea has worked on a
variety of films, “from
the sublime to the
ridiculous” – these
include David Cronenberg’s Spider and
Fat Slags, based on the Viz comic strip
of the same name. After working as the
programme producer for last year’s
Edinburgh International Film Festival,
she is now a publicist for the 50th
London Film Festival.
Turn-on “It’s laughter for me all the way.
Clichéd, but true.”
Turn-off “I encounter a fair number of
artificial people in this industry, and
it’s something I really can’t stand.”
Dream date “I’ve been a loyal follower
of George Clooney since his ER days.”
28 ANA CRUZALEGUI
MAKE-UP ARTIST, 27
NEW
Lives Glasgow.
Who is she? Originally
from Peru, Ana lived in
California, where she
worked as a make-up
artist for Fox TV and
Elite and LA Models
agency. But that all
changed when she visited Scotland on
holiday and fell in love with it. She set up
her own company, Dirt, in Glasgow two
years ago and hasn’t looked back. “It’s
refreshing here,” she says. “When people
say they’re friends, they really mean it.”
Ana has worked with the Fratellis and
the Dykeenies and backstage for Armani
at this year’s London Fashion Week.
Turn-on “Wit and humour.”
Turn-off “Cockiness and a bad attitude.”
Dream date “Jarvis Cocker. I’ve been a fan
of Pulp since I was 12, and to me he’s one
of the most interesting artists. I reckon
he’d have a lot to say over dinner.”
another string to her bow when she set
up Chunkyknit Productions in 2003,
which makes all-girl snowboarding films.
As well as competing in the half-pipe
