Welcome to all spectators and
participants to the 2014 New
England Regional IPO and FH
Championships. This event will
showcase some of the best working
dogs in the New England region and
beyond. Please join me in thanking
the property owners for allowing us
the use of their facilities. I wish to
express my thanks to Niagara
Frontier WDC for their hard work in
putting on an event like this. The
work by your club and others is
greatly appreciated.
We are very fortunate to have GSSCC
Judge Frank McEniry (tracking) and USCA/SV Judge Nathaniel Roque
(obedience and protection). Please take time to thank them for their
expertise in judging this event. I would like to thank them both for
taking the time out of their busy schedule to judge this event.
I wish the very best of luck to all of the dog and handler teams this
weekend. The culmination of all your hard work and training will
hopefully bring you success. Thank you for your support of our region
and this championship. Regardless of your final placing, your
sportsmanship and dedication to the German Shepherd or your working
breed of choice will bring respect from us all.
I would like to ask everyone to please treat our Championship venues
and hotels with respect. Please pick up after yourselves and your dogs
wherever you go. Remember that each one of you represent our region
and USCA whether you are here competing or simply here in
attendance.
In closing, I offer my sincere thanks to each of you, for your
dedication and continued support of our region, USCA, the German
Shepherd and all working breeds.
