IMPORTANT NOTES<br />

• The trade waste policies/fees which applied <strong>to</strong> the three local authorities that were amalgamated <strong>to</strong> <strong>for</strong>m the Sunshine Coast<br />

Regional Council will be reviewed as part of an overall review of Council’s Policies and procedures.<br />

Until this review is completed and a <strong>Trade</strong> <strong>Waste</strong> Policy or Source Management Policy has been developed and endorsed by<br />

Council, the policy relating <strong>to</strong> the area where the discharge occurs will apply.<br />

Any queries relating <strong>to</strong> the policies should be directed <strong>to</strong> Sunshine Coast Water’s Contact Officer<br />

• Should more than one trade waste genera<strong>to</strong>r exist on a property then a separate trade waste application is <strong>to</strong> be submitted <strong>for</strong> each<br />

genera<strong>to</strong>r. Subsequently a permit <strong>to</strong> discharge trade waste in<strong>to</strong> Council's sewer will be issued <strong>to</strong> each genera<strong>to</strong>r on that property.<br />

• This trade waste application may not be processed if a plumbing and drainage final certificate has not been issued.<br />

• Failure <strong>to</strong> provide all relevant in<strong>for</strong>mation will result in delays in processing your application.<br />
