IMPORTANT NOTES
• The trade waste policies/fees which applied to the three local authorities that were amalgamated to form the Sunshine Coast
Regional Council will be reviewed as part of an overall review of Council’s Policies and procedures.
Until this review is completed and a Trade Waste Policy or Source Management Policy has been developed and endorsed by
Council, the policy relating to the area where the discharge occurs will apply.
Any queries relating to the policies should be directed to Sunshine Coast Water’s Contact Officer
• Should more than one trade waste generator exist on a property then a separate trade waste application is to be submitted for each
generator. Subsequently a permit to discharge trade waste into Council's sewer will be issued to each generator on that property.
• This trade waste application may not be processed if a plumbing and drainage final certificate has not been issued.
• Failure to provide all relevant information will result in delays in processing your application.
