Fun Time at
Fall Fest
Starting with Talent Nite, Fall
Fest weekend was a big hit for
hundreds of alumni, students,
family, and friends. The last
weekend of September has become
a tradition for the college
family, with events such as the
Presidents’ Scholarship Recognition
Brunch, the Alumni Association
Annual Meeting, Casino
Night, and the annual
Alumni Association Awards
Dinner bringing old friends and
new to the campus.
“Talent Nite,” a talent contest
that was a big hit with contestants
and the audience alike last
year, returned with a variety of
acts—from music and dance, to
comedy and more. The top
three winners were Elisa
Fernandez, 1 st prize ($500);
Eric Wilcox & Eric Sarner, 2 nd
prize ($250); and, Antonius
Rivera, 3 rd prize ($125). With
family members and fellow students
on hand to watch the
competition, Kunsela Hall auditorium
was full on Friday
night. For those who missed
this event, plans are already underway
for next year’s Talent
Nite.
