Purpose/Goals
To educate our students on the relationship of
good attendance with academic success
To raise our Average Daily Attendance (ADA)

Use of Funding
Monies were used to purchase monthly
incentives for randomly drawn students that had
perfect attendance (e.g., educational games,
iPods, school supplies)
Over 50 students at all grade levels will receive
these monthly awards throughout the year.

Student Benefits
Students learn more when they are in the
classroom.
By increasing the number of days the students
are present in class, we improve the amount they
learn, thereby increasing the chances of
successfully passing state tests and graduating on
time.

Major Accomplishments
Increased motivation to be in school by students
ADA has steadily increased since the inception
of the incentive program
Increased ADA allows for more learning and
teaching opportunities for students
Increased ADA allows for additional funding
from the state for our district
