Winter ADVENTURES

“This winter break I was lucky enough to visit my sister
who’s stationed as an Army Nurse in Landstuhl, Germany.
Within Germany we went to the Christmas markets of
Nuremburg and Rothenberg, and other nearby towns like
Heidelberg.
Two big trips were kept secret until Christmas day, when
we found out we would go to Paris, and spend New Years
in Amsterdam which both were incredible cities that I
would definitely go back to.
With one last weekend to spare, we spent 2 nights in
a hostel in Interlaken, Switzerland and rode the world’s
longest sled run, which required a 2-hour hike up into
the Swiss Alps.
It was an amazing experience to stay in places where
the language everyone is speaking isn’t your own, and to indulge
on the great foods they have to offer. The new sights and
experiences of other countries leaves an impression that gives you
a different perspective on many of the things here in the U.S., and
it is definitely something everyone should do when given the
opportunity.

“Over the break I was an extra in a full-length zombie
prom romantic comedy called "Zombie Prombie." I was
fortunate enough to be in three scenes, three separate
days as a zombie.
One of the people I worked for over the summer
submitted a script and was given enough money to
produce a movie. Since he is the director and I know him,
he let my friends and I be in the movie. The days I had time
to go, I went to be an extra in his movie. It was something
to do over the break, and it turned out to be a lot of fun.”
