Star Credentialing
Fit 2 Cheer has an exciting Athlete Credentialing System, based on the USASF (United
States All Star Federation) credentialing system. This means that athletes have the
opportunity to achieve star levels within 4 key skill areas of cheerleading - Stunts/ Tumbles/
Tosses/Jumps. Skills have been identified within each key skill area which athletes are
required to achieve before progressing to the next star level. This is an awards system,
and will encourage and promote individual achievement, and provide athletes
and coaches a framework of predetermined goals to aim towards.
The Athlete Credentialing Star Level chart is on the bulletin board outlining all the skills
within each level.
Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Level 4 Level 5 Level 6
Stunts Star 1 Star 2 Star 3 Star 4 Star 5 Star 6
Tumbles Star 1 Star 2 Star 3 Star 4 Star 5 Star 6
Tosses Star 1 Star 2 Star 3 Star 4 Star 5 Star 6
Jumps Star 1 Star 2 Star 3 Star 4 Star 5 Star 6
Star Credentialing Days:
Athlete credentialing will be held once a term during normal training time. Athletes will be
tested on their skills during this session. Once a star is achieved within a level, the athlete
will be notified and may then purchase the star badge for $6 that is payable at the counter.
Parents are welcome to view the classes on these credentialing days to check out the
athlete’s progress and cheer them on!
Awards/Badges:
Certificates will be awarded along with the badges which are to be sewn down the left arm
of the F2C Jacket within the Royal Blue stripe in order of achievement.
