event worth experiencing, as this<br />

is truly a show where country<br />

meets town and all have a great<br />

time. Have your say with the<br />

cattle judges; eye up the sheep<br />

and goats; watch the horses from<br />

the 100yr-old grandstand, or the<br />

shearing and wood chopping<br />

from a hay bale seat. Admire the<br />

cooking, flowers and handicrafts<br />

from locals and visitors and<br />

view the stunning photography<br />

display. Stroll around the many<br />

varied trade stands or sit back and<br />

listen to the entertainment. There<br />

is a great variety of food stalls and<br />

plenty to do for young and old.<br />

Tata TITANIC Cardboard<br />

Boat Race.<br />

Race starts at 10am, BUT be there<br />

at 9.00 am please. Tata Beach (or<br />

the “lagoon” if windy).<br />

This will be the 15th annual<br />

Cardboard Boat race. This<br />

event made the Golden Bay<br />

ICON status. Cardboard crafts<br />

resembling wedding cakes, BMWs<br />

and even Fire Engines brave the<br />

waves for a fun time. Category<br />

and spot prizes donated by local<br />

businesses. Entry forms available<br />

early December.<br />
