2013-2015 TRAINING AND EXERCISE PLAN (TEP)
MULTI-REGIONAL COLLABORATION CALENDARS
Once finished setting Regional Priorities, the regions participated in a Regional Collaboration activity.
During this process the regions worked together to identify opportunities to coordinate training and
collaborate on the implementation of exercises. Many of the regions agreed they did not need to do a lot
of coordination, but to take advantage of training and exercise opportunities that will occur in
neighboring regions. The following items are the specific multi-regional collaboration opportunities
identified.
• Region 1:
o Region 2-FSE exercise with the State and development of training and tabletops for the
Suspicious Substance Protocol and Region IED Exercise
o Regions 2 and 3-On-Site/Incident Management Training
• Region 2:
o Region 3-National Grid Training
• Region 5:
o Regions 3 and 4-Civil Unrest at an educational institution exercise to take place at local
colleges and universities
• Region 6:
o Will collaborate with training opportunities
• Region 7:
o Was unable to identify any specific opportunities to collaborate with the other Regions
but all their training and exercises are published in the FDEM calendar and open to
personnel from other Regions that can make their own travel arrangements
