<strong>NUT</strong> <strong>CPD</strong>’s pr<strong>of</strong>essional learning partnerships<br />

<strong>National</strong> College for School Leadership<br />

Equal Access to Promotion (EAP) is the NCSL/<strong>NUT</strong> <strong>CPD</strong> leadership<br />

<strong>programme</strong> for black and minority ethnic teachers (with four to 12<br />

years’ teaching experience) in leadership roles and aspiring to more<br />

senior roles. EAP courses will run throughout the 2010/11 school year.<br />

BME participants engage in a pre-course investigation, attend a<br />

two-day residential seminar at the <strong>National</strong> College in Nottingham,<br />

and complete a follow-up leadership study in their schools. EAP is<br />

FREE to <strong>NUT</strong> members and others in the target audience.<br />

• delivered by skilled and experienced tutors at ‘twilight’<br />

sessions in local FE colleges<br />

• three options – intermediate Word, PowerPoint and Excel;<br />

multimedia (digital photography and online publishing);<br />

and interactive whiteboard courses<br />

Travel expenses:<br />

<strong>NUT</strong> members can reclaim (with receipts/<br />

mileage) for <strong>CPD</strong> at Stoke Rochford Hall<br />

(ie tt/73, TnC/8 and TF/75). No claims for<br />

one-day events (OD or ONP), nor where ‘R’ in<br />

the code (‘R’ indicates local/regional event).<br />

Accommodation:<br />

Courses at Stoke Rochford Hall start at 11am on<br />

the first day to allow time to travel, and dinner<br />

with B&B is provided at end <strong>of</strong> day one. Where<br />

other courses <strong>of</strong>fer ‘optional dinner and B&B<br />

(£50)’ applicants can request this in advance.<br />

Participants completing tt/73, tt/74, TnC/8 and<br />

‘Internationalising learning’ (T2T) have the<br />

option to gain GTC’s Teacher Learning<br />

Academy (Stage 1) – read course flyers for<br />
