Executive Chef Patrick Jarno has been reinventing taste for 30 years. Early proponent of healthy cooking, 

Jarno constantly strives to innovate and perfect his cuisine. He works hand-in-hand with our nutritionist 

and dieticians to develop new menus each day. His creations appeal to the mind as much as to the palate. 

Each dish reflects the seasons and uses fresh local ingredients. Each detail has its importance. Sitting down 

to a meal is a ritual. And for it to be enjoyable, each dish must speak to all five of our senses. Jarno plays 

with colour, composition, texture and flavour. His creative, generous cuisine is light years away from the

We will provide you with a bathrobe. You should bring two bathing suits, comfortable clothes and 

trainers for exercising and sandals with non-skid soles (included free-of-charge with stays comprising at 

least 4 days of treatments). 

I Thalassotherapy programmes 

Our programme descriptions are not binding and are subject to change. The treatments provided are subject 

to availability. The treatment times given include the time getting set up in the treatment room. 

Doctor’s certificate 

A doctor’s certificate less than one month old is required for all stays of 4 days or more. This certificate must 

indicate that you are fit to receive thalassotherapy treatments and to use a Turkish bath and sauna. If staying 

less than 4 days, you will be asked to sign a release form before undergoing any treatments. Your programme 

may be modified to account for any special medical conditions that you may have. We reserve the right to 

request a second opinion from the Thalassotherapy and Wellness Institute doctor before giving treatments 

to guests and to refuse to give treatments to guests presenting health risks. 

Our thalassotherapy treatments are intended for adults aged 18 and over and are not suitable for pregnant 

women. Pregnant women may be offered a selection of beauty treatments instead. Certain treatments may 

be suitable for teens aged 14 and over. Contact us for more information.

For centuries man has used the sea’s abundant resources; now it’s time to give back. 

At the Sofitel Quiberon Diététique resort, we play a proactive role in protecting the precious ecosystems 

on our beautiful rugged coastline. Our entire staff has been trained on this vital 21st-century issue. 

We printed this brochure on PEFC-certified recycled paper to preserve our forests. We recycle our waste. 

We have implemented energy- and water-saving measures. We use seawater to wash and disinfect our 

thalassotherapy bathtubs. We use biodegradable films in our seaweed wraps. We filter the water we 

return to the sea, so it’s just as pure as the water we take. And every year we celebrate Earth Day with 

an entire week of events dedicated to marine conservation.
