Features<br />
• Mechanism that restricts the initial window opening to 100 mm.<br />
Complies with BS 8213 Part 1: 1991 ‘Code of Practice for Safety<br />
in use and in cleaning’<br />
• Designed to be unobtrusive, the opening catch is less tempting<br />
to children<br />
• The mechanism requires a certain level of strength and dexterity<br />
to operate and two hands are required to co-ordinate opening,<br />
giving added protection.<br />
• The entire restrictor mechanism is integral to the hinge,<br />
eliminating the need for a separate restrictor<br />
• <strong>Window</strong>s Incorporating the restrictor hinge have been tested and<br />
meet the requirements of BS 6375, Part 2: 1987, Clause A7<br />
